چکیده

Purpose: To exaluate the effect of perfluorocarbon on lung ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats, and to unravel potential underlying mechanism. Methods: A total 36 Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly assigned sham group, model group (12 per group). The levels inflammatory factors (TNF-α IL1β) determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cell apoptosis was evaluated by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay, while Western blotting conducted determine protein expressions TLR4 NF-κB.Results: groups significantly higher than those operation (p < 0.05), their lower 0.05). mRNA expression TNF-α IL-1β tissues rose both when compared with but declined comparison Furthermore, exhibited a cell relative NF-κBdeclined group. Conclusions: Perfluorocarbon down-regulates TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway, inhibits inflammation an

Effects of Diamond nanoparticles on mitochondrial apoptosis pathway in rats with testicular ischemia / reperfusion.

Background and Aim: Testicular torsion is a urological emergency that leads to testicular tissue damage and infertility. In recent years, several studies have been conducted on the antioxidant properties of nanoparticles. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of Diamond nanoparticles on the  apoptosis in rats with testicular ischemia / reperfusion. Methods: 48 adult rats aged 20 ...

Protective role of remote ischemic per-conditioning in acute renal injury induced by ischemia reperfusion via TLR-4 and TNF-α signaling pathway in rats

sIntroduction: Acute kidney injury (AKI) induced by ischemia-reperfusion (I / R) of the kidney as an inflammatory process in which multiple inflammatory factors are involved. Recently, one of the modalities of inflammation in AKI is Remote Ischemic Per-Conditioning (RIPerC). Materials and Methods: In this study, bilateral renal artery and vein occlusion were done for 45 minute and reperfusion a...

Bicyclol protects cardiomyocytes from apoptosis in ischemia/reperfusion injury via inhibition of TLR4/NF-κB pathway

Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)-mediated apoptosis plays a critical role in the etiology and pathogenesis of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury (MIRI). Bicyclol has been shown to possess a variety of pharmacological effects, but its anti-apoptotic property has garnered particular interest. The aim of this study is to elucidate the cardioprotective effect of bicyclol in I/R injury, and to ...

Nanocurcumin-Mediated Down-Regulation of Telomerase Via Stimulating TGFβ1 Signaling Pathway in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells

Background: Curcumin, extracted from turmeric, represents enormous potential to serve as an anticancer agent. Telomerase is viewed as a prominent molecular target of curcumin, and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGFβ1) has proven to be a major inhibitory signaling pathway for telomerase activity. In the current study, we aimed to explore suppressive effects of nanocurcumin on telomeras...

Protosappanin A protects against atherosclerosis via anti- hyperlipidemia, anti-inflammation and NF-κB signaling pathway in hyperlipidemic rabbits

Objective(s): Protosappanin A (PrA) is an effective and major ingredient of Caesalpinia sappan L. The current study was aimed to explore the effect of PrA on atherosclerosis (AS). Materials and Methods: Firstly, the experimental model of AS was established in rabbits by two-month feeding of high fat diet. Then, the rabbits were randomly divided into five groups and treated with continuous high ...
